El Sargento |
The community of El Sargento consists of about 400 people and includes
half a dozen mini-markets, three hardware stores, a baseball stadium,
a police station, several restaurants, a cell phone relay tower, two
carpenter's shops, a wrought iron works, a shrimp farm and a medical
clinic. Consistent winds from November to March make El Sargento the
kite-boarding and wind-surfing capital of the world. |

La Paz |
La Paz is the capital of the Baja Peninsula, it's about 40 minutes
from El Sargento with a popluation of about 250,000 people. Here you'll
find harborside restaurants and familiar department stores as well
as live boxing, scuba diving and sport fishing. La Paz is the sports
fishing capital of the world. The surrounding beaches offer whale
watching, tours of the islands, sail-board, kite-board and jet ski
rentals. |
